 British Airways Apprentice Visit

At the end of January, Barry Comprehensive welcomed three British Airways apprentices to school.  The apprentices, including former pupil Andrew Mock, spoke to students and provided information on the work at British Airways Maintenance Cardiff.  Pupils taking GCSE and BTEC courses in engineering found the presentation to be most useful for making applications for apprenticeships and work experience.

Dedicated students get creative on Saturdays!

Barry Comprehensive School boasts a very talented group of students who have shown maturity and dedication by attending GCSE Art catch-up sessions with Mrs Hill and Mr Burman.  Even though the breakfast provided by Mr McNamara was a welcome bonus, the boys not only enjoyed refining the work they had produced, they also gave themselves the best possible chance of securing a good grade in their upcoming GCSE art exam.  Well done to all who attended! The next session is on the 8th March and all GCSE art students are welcome to attend.  See your art teacher for details.
